
The Corail Noir is one of the very few hotels in Nosy Be to have a diving center within the hotel. Diving being in the DNA of the hotel and its manager Gianluca, everything is thought for an optimal experience and comfort for the diving customers.
Since 2005, the diving center Aqua diving with its European and Malagasy team, have made thousands of divers discover the wonders of Nosy Be, whether they are experienced or novices.
The dives are programmed each day, according to the level of difficulty, the tides, the currents and what you want to meet or discover. There are more than 30 unique sites to explore. You will find coral formations still intact and rich in color, giant multicolored gorgonians and a barrier fauna that will enrich your adventure.
With a little luck, you will have some great encounters! During their annual migration, going up with the cold currents of the southern Indian Ocean, humpback whales (megapteres) pass along Nosy Be between August and October. As for the whale sharks, they come to feed in the area between October and January.
With our guide, go for a snorkeling experience in Sakatia. Located west of Nosy Be, towards the road to Andilana, Nosy Sakatia offers a snorkeling spot to divers. With a depth of 2 to 3 meters, the orchid island is home to green turtles and fishes in the presence of groupers, kingfish, barracudas and jacks.
