Diving activities are scheduled every day, depending on the level of difficulty, water tides, water currents, and according to what you want to discover underwater. The area offers over 30 unique sites to explore. There are coral formations still intact and rich in color, giant multicolored gorgonians and barrier fauna of incredible diversity.
It is very likely that you will make huge encounters! During annual migration, together with cold currents of the southern Indian Ocean, humpback whales (Megaptera) pass along Nosy Be – from August to October. As for whale sharks, they come to eat in the area from October to January.
With our specialized guide, go for a captivating snorkeling experience in Nosy Sakatia. Located west of Nosy Be, towards Andilana, Nosy Sakatia offers a fabulous snorkeling spot. Its shallow waters (2 to 3 meters) are the perfect meet-up point to encounter green sea turtles – which come to eat at high tide, – but also groupers, wahoo, barracuda and trevallies.
Embark on a boat for a rare and sensational experience: swimming with the biggest fish in the world, the mythical whale shark. Present in Nosy Be from the end of September until the end of December, whale sharks come to feed in the rich waters of the region.
